does anyone no what casa does with the medical
Hi, just wondering does anyone know what casa does with the medical, once they receive it by the dame, and if the dame deemes you fit to fly, why does it take so long for the certificate to to be issued?
Does Casa search through the applicants medical file from a hospital or gp?

I know CASA send on the ECG report for consideration by one of their specialists.
i.e regular doctors are not specialist enough to examine them.
CASA dont send them immediately either. They batch them off periodically.
Perhaps just once per week.
My Class 1 always takes a while to issue. I thinks its because:
My DAME doesnt attach a cheque when he sends his paperwork to CASA
so CASA send you a letter to tell you to pay the $70 fee.
OOW
