Next class 1 renewal any different?

When I go back to renew my class 1 medical is there any chance standards have changed from what the IAA and CAA deemed acceptable? For instance, the CAA permitted use of a steroid inhaler (with conditions of course), could this change? I had a read of an EASA document but it didn't go into this much detail. Or could I be required to do more tests than before?

Thanks,
HJ

Homer in my experience things only change for the better such as eyesight. Renewal is quicker and cheaper than the initial.
