Q on JAA audiogram, JAA Class 1
One needs to pass the Class 1 audiogram for a JAA IR, even if on a PPL.
There are initial limits, and there are renewal limits which are easier.
I wonder if the CPL/ATPL concession can be used to get past the initial limits?
The above URL doesn't work; it worked up to a few days ago but the CAA has withdrawn the file; a search doesn't turn it up either. Basically, it contains a chart showing how a holder of any ICAO CPL/ATPL and any ICAO Class 1 medical can obtain a JAA Class 1 medical using the renewal limits. I have the PDF file saved so if anybody wants it, please email me.

The above mentioned concession has apparently been withdrawn. The new page is here and there is no mention of the ICAO CPL/ATPL + ICAO Class 1 route to a JAA Class 1.
