Mu beta, as your BP is still withing the normal range i suspect your doctor ment that you did not need any medication.

Response to a diagnosis of postural hypotension would normally be:
1) Treat any underlying cause, if any.
2) Recommend controlled changes in posture - sit before standing, stand before walking. walk before running.
3) avoid large meals, high temperatures, excess alcohol.
4) Increase fluid intake
5) Increase salt intake
6) Medication options include steroids such as fludrocortisone or beta blockers, depending on the cause.

Thanks for the advice...tried all of the above.
BP yesterday was 101/67 and Doctor has checked my Mother's and found similar, says it is possible that its just a hereditary thing. He has however also discovered that I'm Anaemic, so I guess that could have a bearing too?
Shame for me that everyone seems to be reducing salt levels in their products...but I guess that's life.
