It were back in the days when it was me job to make a fool of meself on the telly... instead of now just generally making a fool of meself.
That particular old B206 actually was scary.
Lots of inoperable stuff on the panel as we flew to a news job... I didn't have a good feeling about the pilot, who was very casual.
A few months later he took himself out - crashed in a pine forest.

Many of the usual suspects as SLF, and four or five trainers as P/UT or PIC, but I was surprised to see I have two that no-one else has mentioned: Dassault Mercure (Air Inter from Marseille to CDG in June 1993), and Ikarus C42B..

I have never forgotten the thrill of my first flight, it was in a Chipmunk flown by a Flt Sgt. After some 60 years it remains my best flight ever. After that nothing to speak of really, plenty of civ and trooping, pretty boring although the Comet Singapore - UK and back was a revelation after UK - Singapore by Britannia. I do regret not taking up the offer of a trip in the T4 on my final Harrier field deployment.
