Buongiorno regazzi!

I am writing to ask you about advice with regards to Air Italy F/o positions on the B757/767 fleet.

can you share some info regarding salary, destinations, rosters, hotels ect ect.

I dont speak very much italian at all, so please could you answer me in english or PM me if you wish.

I heard that they take you on board only for a short term period and thereafter send you home for ever and take new customers in.

Salary:
S/O 1300 to 2100€
F/O 2100€ to 3000€ (biggest entry is daily allowance)

Destinations:
MRU NOS SSA NAT FOR CUN MBA ZNZ MLE LRM

Rosters:
9 days off per month, 7 in peak periods. Rest days not assured after long haul. Charter activity means unstable rosters: up to 9 changes per month registered there.

Hotels:
No glory nor shame, generally good.

Obligation to live within 60 minutes of company's crew briefing room.

Although the atmosphere between crew is really nice be aware that for most people foreigners are stealing a job to some italian pilot. Few are happy to communicate in any language but italian.

Purissima curiosità personale, visto che non si riesce a capire molto ma che un'idea (:yuk:) già ce l'ho...confermate che anche loro prendono in giro la gente?:ugh:

Dipende a cosa ti riferisci..se parli di pagare il type e poi ciap, non ho notizie a riguardo..tutti hanno l'indeterminato, chi si è pagato il type, chi gli viene detratto dalla busta paga..ma non ho sentito di gente che è stata presa in giro!!
se per prese in giro intendi le telefonate dell'ufficio turni...........:}:}:}

intendo proprio ciò che hai detto, che ti fanno pagare il type e poi ti lasciano a casa! Insomma...in Italia si sa come è la situazione, non mi meraviglierei affatto se anche loro facessero così!

Immagino che al momento, pure loro...assunzioni zero.

8 piloti hanno cominciato il type sul 737 il 28 dicembre, e nessuno aveva un numero spropositato di ore... quindi immagino che per un pò di tempo non se ne parli nemmeno.

ma i DEC li prendono di tanto in tanto?

e a che livelli di raccomandazione bisogna arrivare per avere la stessa sorte di quegli 8 ragazzi appena entrati con poche ore?

Mi chiedo a quessto punto se un comune mortale ma con una buona esperienza potra' mai riuscire a farsi assumere .

Confermate che gli stipendi citati sono minimi oppure includono anche per diem / ore di volo oltre il fisso.

Non saprei per i DEC, gli 8 sono tutti copiloti da che io sappia... ma a logica immagino che abbiano provveduto o che comunque provvederanno a reclutare anche comandanti.

Your thinking is so narrow minded it is a shame. You probably fully support having a european Union when it comes to regulations and when things are advantageous to you, but when it comes to Europeans working for an Italian airline you have a problem.

In my last airline (UK) there were a few Italian pilots, and it was just as normal that they worked for a British airline.....but then that is what is so nice about the UK maybe?!

and BTW, your statment is so strange seeing as how many Italian pilots work for EK, EY, QR,.......but i guess that suits you fine hey?!

Not all Italian pilots are thinking the same way luckily. I completely disagree with A321. I am Italian but working abroad and no one has ever said anything against it.
Just ignore him and all other similar comments if they will appear.
Apologise but I can’t help you about the Air Italy enquiry.

I remember flying in italy and all the italians are not like a321.......
but like in every country, city, ethnic group, and thus in every airline, you find some sour grapes in the bunch!

gente con poche ore....ah ecco perchè non mi hanno filato neanche di striscio..il problema è l'esperienza.
Una volta al colloquio ti chiedevano le ore di bimotore,la 9v,l'atpl...adesso invece è cambiato tutto...o forse non è cambiato nulla.
Anche all'estero non è tutto rose e fiori,provate a fare una selezione per una compagnia svizzera o austriaca o tedesca.io l'ho fatto e dopo 2 giorni di psicominchiate e quiz atpl mi è stato chiesto se parlavo tedesco.
Ovviamente non mi hanno preso e su insitenza presso l'agenzia che mi aveva presentato ho scoperto che secondo il loro psicologo non ero adatto alla vita di albergo,cioè a star lontano da casa(in quel periodo lavoravo per una compagnia dove il turno minimo era di 2 giorni e quello lungo di 5..pensa un po').chiedo scusa per lo sfogo ma mi sembra ridicolo aprire ai piloti stranieri quando in italia ci sono tanti bravi cristi disoccupati e cassa-integrati e istruttori di aeroclub con la speranza di poter andare in linea o in general av. un giorno.

In questo clima di crisi è meglio far lavorare dei "nostri" non vedo perchè prendere da fuori gente che non ha ne più ne meno i requisiti che già si trovano qua. Vogliamo valorizzarci oppure dobbiamo sempre spalarci la cacca addosso?

Damianik, le condizioni non sono al massimo da quello che so.
Non conosco diarie giornaliere, orarie e cose del genere, so che il base è meno di 900 euro.
E se voli poco porti a casa davvero poco.
Basi 737 Napoli, Torino e un'altra che non ricordo...
L'ambiente mi dicono essere abbastanza rilassato.
Per quelli non rated il costo è di 25k euro.

non diciamo cavolate...ormai in questo forum si dicono piu cose inesatte che altro... e cmq lo stipendio base in air italy è 1300 euro 1 striscia 1900 euro 2 striscie 2350 euro 3 striscie...ovviamente a queste cifre va aggiunto circa il doppio calcolando diarie indennita di tratta e orarie... insomma con un volato normale 60 70 ore un fo porta a casa 2000 3500 4200 rispettivamente 1/2/3 striscie...
