Alitalia Covid tested flights

Ciao!

I remember reading about Alitalia doing a test of covid tested flights.

https://www.alitalia.com/en_us/fly-a...d-flights.html

Would somebody care to comment on the success of this test? Have passengers been preferring these flights, or do they avoid them altogether?

Thanks in advance for the help, and apologies for my lack of knowledge of Italian.

HI

I took those flights recent recently and they were quite full as the rest of the schedule I believe.
It Isn't a big harsh to attend the test as you can do it for free in the airport by presenting the boarding card.
it takes around 20 minutes to get the result and off you go at the gate. This applies from FCO, from LIN isn't mandatory anymore. I don't know much about the JFK FCO route, in pretty sure you only have to produce a negative rapid test result tough.

I wouldn't been worried about..

Ciao Check Airman,

I believe that the trial finished at the end of January has not been extended anymore, at least as regards domestic flights (FCO LIN route). I don't know if it is still in force for the JFK route.
As far as I know, no statistics are available to the public on these specific flights. However, the fact that the trial has not been extended would make me think that they have not achieved the result they had set as a benchmark, but this is only my guess.

Neos Air has already stated Covid free test flights on MXP NKG .
that was requested by Chinese Gov in order to carry pax to China
