Thumb up!

It really depends on your base and on the hours, but in BGY for, let's say, 90 hours, you can earn about 4500€/month clean in the pocket.

(F/O figures)

Illegal contracts, no pension,no sick pay, no holiday paid, pay for uniform, pay for recurrent training, pay for crew food, pay for hotels,no leave in summer,no requests for days off (not even when you get married ) , treated like a slave....and much more.

I-ainc gave you figures that are not true.
That money is what about you will earn as a capitain paying the italian social security ( employed by the company )
You will fly 900hours per year very often with 4 sector days ( 1.30 block time )
The true figure in italy for an f/o after taxes is around 2500-2700 per month.

Maumau.
Different way of looking at the same thing probably because of different factors coming into play. If you show working conditions like these to a common worker, it could be a carpenter, a mechanic, a common factory worker, a computer technician, a doctor or an enginer or, speaking of the devil, an airline captain (with quite a few years up there), they are going either to be horrified or laugh at your face.
Show these conditions to a guy in his twenties, pushing himself to be a (airline) pilot, no wife, no kids, not many working experiences (in any field) if none at all, and he is going to tell you that all this (conditions) can, in a way or another, be overcome.
We could talk for pages about this matter... As it's been done a huge number of times.
Buona giornata.

Ah ! Onethousand you made my day !
