CAE easyJet MPL 2020
Hi,
I thought I'd make this for anyone going for the Stage 3 assessments with CAE/easyJet early 2020. To discuss etc.. |
i have my stage 2 assessment in 3 weeks time. Any tips? What date is your stage 3? |
Hi,
Just relax is the biggest one. They are so friendly and helpful. Don't worry about getting up (quietly!!) and having a quick break. Preparation wise, practising with stuff online should work. Don't take me as an expert though!! |
Hi all. I am about to apply myself. Does anyone know the process and where should I find stuff to prepare
I have my stage 2 on February 19th, very nervous, let myself down last year with the Flybe MPL interview so working hard for this one!
So i have my stage 2 skill assessment in a few weeks but I’ve just had an email saying to keep dates in late feb for the stage 3 in CAE Milan providing I pass stage 2. I assumed it was all done in Oxford.
Best of luck mate. I have found the revision material on Latestpilotjobs helpful. Have you found any useful tools to help with prep? I’ll let you know how my stage 2 goes early Feb.
Thanks mate, I'm using the LPJ network stuff too, hoping it works! Good luck with your assesment :)
Hello! Did you use the CAE specific stuff? If so, what level were you practising on for your maths and physics? Medium or Hard? All the best!! X
Hi, I'm using the medium at the moment, can't see how some of the hard level questions can be done without a calculator! Trying to blend both as much as I can, when is your assesment? :)
Is anyone yet to receive there stage 2 results? I haven't received mine and was told tomorrow is the last stage 3 date.
Stage 2 Assessment
Hi, i have my stage 2 assessment in a couple of weeks. I was just wondering whether the maths test was a non calculator or calculator test?
Non calculator
Not sure about it being the 'last' stage 3 date, as there are those like myself who are yet to do stage 2.
I have stage 2 on Wednesday I’ve been told that the stage 3 will take place between 25-27th feb if successful at stage 2

Those that have done their Stage 2 already, what was the structure of the day and how did you find it?
...and how long did it take CAE to get back to you after your initial application? I only applied a couple of days ago but am curious.
It took about 2 days to confirm stage 2 date - which is tomorrow 😩 - I had the option to choose a date that suited according to availability. Will feed back on how it goes tomorrow!
Good luck. May give them a call tomorrow, as I haven't received the personality test that I assume it will have to do before being invited to an assessment day.
Good luck, let us know how it goes!!
Hi all,
I applied for the mpl program on saturday for CAE in Milan Malpensa. Got an email saying they would have come back to me within 3 days. So far no answer. Anyone in the same situation? |
Yes, I applied on Friday and haven't heard anything as yet.
Hi all, ive applied to do my Stage 2 assessment next month. I was just wondering whether you are given the equations for the calculations in the maths and physics assessments or if you need to know them off by heart.
Hi all. Completed stage 2 today.
Firstly, there is nothing to catch you out/no low ballers. Staff were friendly and the group of 8-10 of us who took the assessment were also a really good bunch - I’d be delighted to be placed on a course with any or all of them. I stuffed up the ball game as it took me a while to get to grips with the reverse axis on the joystick. All in all there was nothing unexpected and the entire assessment was done within about 3 hours or so. if anyone wants any further info on the structure then by all means dm me for my email. For those who sat the stage 2 today please get in touch as it would be great to chat ahead of stage 3 (though I’m pretty sure I’ve failed) For those yet to sit stage 2 - best of luck :) |

Thanks for all the info, I think that will be appreciated by many. I have my stage 2 on Monday so fingers crossed for that. Let us know when you hear back about whether you have processed or not. :) |
Hi all,
Do you know how long is the training with EasyJet ? Around 18 months ? Thank you. |
Yes, around 18 months for the MPL route
Hey, I think nearly everyone would be caught out with that ball game, Ive got stage 3 in march although I'm not seeking the easyjet MPL.... you may well have your results by now?
Did you guys receive a code to do your personality test before attending stage 2, or did you do it on the day?

that’s good to know - my ball was dancing all over the grid 😩 I’m hoping to find out within the next few days. Out of interest which programme did you apply for? |

I had mine in December, but nobody on my day received the code beforehand and everyone had the choice to do it in the sitting, or take the code home and do it after. Hope that helps, I was a bit confused before too! |

Cheers. |
Hi,
Can anybody let me know if you are allowed to bring a pad and paper with you on any of the tests? And if so, which ones? Thanks |

Integrated ATPL but would have considered Easyjet MP if given the chance...mind you the grade boundary for that is higher and found the ATPL level 2 hard enough to achieve LOL.... gotta redo the maths on interview day was just short of the grade :/

Balls! I didn’t do well enough to get onto the MPL but got enough to get accepted onto the ATPL route with another airline. I passed everything but fell short in the physics test.
They've given me the choice to apply again next year or go forward to stage 3 but with another airline Mentored programme. |
