also haven't heard anything, very hard to gauge what that means for us

JPFTEJerez 11th Aug 2016 14:14

For those who haven't heard yet, i wouldn't worry. It's seems like they've dished out all the unsuccessful emails already. So no news is still good news for you lot.

EZY_FR 11th Aug 2016 14:48

Happy to see all you guys getting invites, but its gutting not to get another invite...

mjennings061 11th Aug 2016 14:50

Just got my successful email, but I didn't get asked for educational details. Hope this eases some of you who haven't heard yet :ok:

Apitu 11th Aug 2016 15:42

Just got mine a few minutes ago, and I'm thrilled. Almost started losing my hope seeing that the guys who first posted their good news are mostly from Scotland/UK/Ireland.
Best of luck to everyone.

Has anyone completed the video interview? If so, what kind of questions were asked?

caniba 11th Aug 2016 16:10

I received good news as well. Very exciting - I hope my German accent is not that bad.

ben78 11th Aug 2016 16:38

Aptitu, got my good news earlier today too and I am from France, so I guess we are a couple of people in that case :)

I'm sure you mean well but there is a limit to how much people are able help each other on the forum considering how competitive these processes are.

Put yourself in the recruiters shoes and think what kind of information they are trying to gather from aspiring pilots. The video interview is a good method as aside from the information you provide it's also testing some key pilot skills - communication, information processing, thinking on your feet, working and remaining calm under pressure. All in a time constrained environment.

I have no stake in this. I wish everyone the best :)

Apitu 11th Aug 2016 17:25

Silly question, what are you going to wear during the recording? Something like suit and tie, or just a clean looking shirt?

B77F 11th Aug 2016 18:00

Seems we are the only ones outside UK/Ireland that have made it.

Well said - this is exactly the benefit of a video interview over the same questions in essay form. (Much more entertaining for the assessors too!)

JPFTEJerez 11th Aug 2016 19:29

I have no idea what to expect from these questions so I'm bloody terrified hahaha

Arkrauklis 11th Aug 2016 21:47

And that's why I very rarely use this sight. Best of luck everyone.

Recieved the good news yesterday also, best of luck to everyone!

Arkrauklis 12th Aug 2016 09:02

Hey guys , best of luck to you who got through . Anyone age over 30 got through to next round ?

PrettyFlyForAWifi 12th Aug 2016 13:25

Well done everyone, I'm assuming i'm going to be, like most people, doing their interviews over the weekend when work isn't a distraction etc.

However if anyone has already completed the assessment, just out of curiosity, are the questions complex or quite simple but fast paced? I don't want to know the questions themselves as this i don't like. However i'm just worried that i'm going to be asked a question that i will not know the meaning of, therefore in the end crippling my chance haha.

Once again, congrats everyone who has passed through to the next stage! ;)

Hi guys I'm currently on holidays and have no access to a webcam/laptop. I'm just wondering if any of you are going to use the app which is linked in the email, could you tell what the experience is like and if it works on an iPhone/iPad? Thank you
