<div style="text-align:left;">I have review the posts from last weeks- it looks like a big picture of Wizzair- The Cadet Show... dont get me wrong- you have rights to write here what you want and ask questions, just recently only 2-3 hundred hour pilots are joining Wizz. We have to fly with them just after line training which makes this job more and more complicated.</div>
I have profited by young, old and senior captains and I want to help the next generation as much I got helped by patient, calm, cool and fun people... who made my first 1000h an awesome experience ... ;) |

And what about the Captain salaries on the non UK contracts? Where they get paid per Km?
Also for the Captains, what bases are mostly used when on floating base contract? Are the particular bases with larger demand than others? |
Looking for a floating base roster example
Hi guys,
May somebody please post how the roster looks on a floating base contract so we can have an idea? If it is not allowed to post it, I would be more than happy to get directly. Thank you in advance |
Can anyone provide which is better contract to be based in Kutaisi ? ( local or Confair ) |

Hi, I'm looking for an advice. I have just passed assessment at another company. They're paying for 737 TR, but with 5 year bond and much worse T&C than Wizz (no pay during training, self employment, random roster, etc.). They will present exact conditions on Monday and they're waiting max to 2-3 days to sign the contract. A week ago I've sent my application to Wizz for NTR cadet and I haven't received any info yet. What would you do in my situation?

Wizz Air just decided to remove random roster for pilots which was giving 400-500 euros extra for those who decided to have such a pattern ( no commuting ) just to save such an small amount of money and making more unhappy to the employers...the result is that every time they are paying less and less with a good number of airplanes on the ground in Budapest due to lack of pilots... salaries schemes were changed more than half a year ago and in comparison with the old schemes are 10% less.( opposite what they announced). They are changing every month their plans, their terms and their objectives. A ship sailing on the sea without heading with an objective of 300 airplanes in less than 10 years and without pilots.

I left the company quite some time ago but all the guys I am still in contact with are telling me that with the new salary scheme the salary did go up at least 10%, and I concur after seeing their payslips and comparing them with my old ones.

But, going back to original question - it's not so easy for cadets, you could wait half a year to get a call from wizz, they are not really short of candidates, the bottleneck is the training. |

Average salary for a captain ( new ) is 5500-6500euros net per month, dont expect more....
5800 (5200£) (50 block hours, no deduction) 6000 (5400£) (60 block hours, no deduction) 7600 (6900$) (85 block hours, no deduction) 7200 (6500£) (85 block hours, bond deduction) 8300 (7400£) (100 block hours, bond deduction) So average for 75h: 6800 (6000£) with bond 7200 (6400£) without bond To compare with EasyJet UK: According the EasyJet career website, they offer 120000£/year (basic salary, sector pay and bonus). Corresponds to 6500£/month after tax. The salary at Wizz Air depends a lot on how much you fly. I assume it's more constant at EasyJet. |

I m not saying your numbers are not true, I would be happy if wizzair offer this good package to pilots. Thanks |
