Easyjet online assessment?....

Hey all,

I recently applied for easyjet non type rated F/O recruitment. Having filled out my details and attached a CV on the easyjet pilots career page I had an e-mail back informing me I have to complete an "online assessment" in order to progress to the next stage. Anyone know what this entails...eg: psychometric/aptitude, technical questions etc? Cannot find any info apart from cabin crew applicants being required to complete it rather than pilots:/.

Thanks in advance :)

Griego 31st Jul 2014 17:59

there is a long thread from 1 year ago-they set up some fake application then as well

aurelcdbbg 1st Aug 2014 10:11

Hey, same here i have ro do the online assessments but no ideas what to expect and where to train for those. Help please :-)

Kero145 1st Aug 2014 12:41

What kind of online assessment it is?? (Theo ATPL, Personal questions,..)
Thanks

amateurflyer 1st Aug 2014 13:07

Hey all

Turns out it is aptitude testing.

Lots of personality questions where one has to nominate points to individual statements
Spatial orientation - using compass and NDB needle....(Personally think the example question's answer is incorrect)...
Hand eye co-ordination...Do with a mouse rather than use a laptop!
Multi-tasking

Verbal reasoning etc

Took me about an hour and 45 mins.

Quite intense!

Was unsuccessful and told by email about 10 mins after I completed it.

Best of luck to everyone else..

dboy 1st Aug 2014 13:48

I did those test last year also and failed as well.

And i agree, the example with the ndb was not correct, in my opinion. The hardest nut was the verbal reasoning. Was more gambling for me since time was pretty short.

I guess that you have to reach a benchmark. If not, bye bye.

Pitty because easyjet swiss had normally a selection assessment of its own rather than these silly online tests.

Crashlanding 1st Aug 2014 14:10

By the sounds its the same as those from last years so just read that thread, the NDB was correct last year, I know quite a few struggled, more than likely as it was a while since using an NDB without a rotating compass card.

amateurflyer 1st Aug 2014 14:44

Ironic as I use the ndb/gyro every day in my particular job!

Crazypilot34 1st Aug 2014 16:53

Hi all!

What kind of stuff is the verbal reasoning ? Gambling is fun but if you have an example i'd appreciate... :}

thanks guys

Griego 1st Aug 2014 17:06

you can do the example they give you in the exercise. The text will be different anyway so it is impossible to do any practise in the short term. Native speakers and fast readers are in the advantage.

Crazypilot34 1st Aug 2014 17:11

Ok thanks, lets just try then... :{

;)

marcoBCN 1st Aug 2014 18:35

I passed the online assesment.. 300 hours, modular training, and i'm not from ctc, oaa... Still waiting for an answer!

Griego 1st Aug 2014 21:16

They obviously only look at your CV after you did and passed the online assessment. In other words if you don't have the minimum requirements you just wasted your time.

Easyjet online assessment?....

Did the online assessment and did not received a confirmation email .Couple of hours later I logged in to check and it shows "pending ".Anyone with the same problem ?

Griego 2nd Aug 2014 08:43

I did the online assessment and got a reply 10 min later. They will have a look at the CV to see if you have all they want. (3500 tt on props)

Griego 2nd Aug 2014 09:27

yes same thing, even got 2 more emails - must be a bug in their system

perikitovolador 12th Aug 2014 19:38

Hi there!

Has anyone heard back from HR? I "passed" the online assesment but I haven´t heard from them since that day!

Anybody in the same situation?

Cheers

USA1pilot 12th Aug 2014 20:56

How do you know you passed?

perikitovolador 12th Aug 2014 21:04

Since there are some guys who have said they received an email telling them that they have not succeeded and I received one a few hous after the assesment telling me that I have succesfully completed it... I guess I "passed" that part...

Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody received the same positive feedback and if they have heard anything else...

Although I have no hopes on this, I would like to get as far as possible! :)

seven3 12th Aug 2014 21:22

8 days later, I didn't receive any email yet.

dirk85 12th Aug 2014 22:56

I was never even invited to to the online test... go figure.

dboy 13th Aug 2014 06:48

Finished the test 1 week ago. So far not 1 single reply. It will be negative for me.

Exam Guidance

Is there any website or some resource from where we can get the useful resource for preparation of airline exams ?

Aleboni 18th Aug 2014 16:53

Is there someone Who has passed online assessment and is waiting??

dboy 18th Aug 2014 17:27

Yes, got a mail that i have to wait. Thats it.

marcoBCN 18th Aug 2014 17:31

Still waiting..

seven3 18th Aug 2014 20:13

We are pleased to inform you that you have successfully completed the online assessment which is the first stage of the recruitment process. Your application and CV will now be screened for evidence of the competences that are critical to success in a pilot role.

You do not need to contact easyJet at this time, as we will contact you by email as soon as we have further information for you. Please do not worry if this does not happen straight away.

Kind regards,

The easyJet Pilot Recruitment Team
Positive for me.
Received the mail today.

Good luck ;)

Does anyone knows whats next ?

Merlot1985 18th Aug 2014 20:17

Hi guys, I have received the same positive email today, I did the assessment 8 days ago.

Good luck to everyone.

1500 TT No HT.

Merlot1985 27th Aug 2014 16:31

Does anyone have news about the next steps regarding EZS assessment? I received a positive email from them, but not news since that.

KAISERSOZE 28th Aug 2014 08:35

It looks like everybody passed....

Does anyone failed ?

dboy 28th Aug 2014 10:17

They clearly said that they are going to contact us and that we should not worry if this is not happening straight away. So be patient.

Merlot1985 28th Aug 2014 10:51

Yeah I know that we have to be patient. My question is if everybody who did the assessment online received that famous email "We are pleased to inform you that you have successfully completed the online assessment… etc", or if it is symptomatic of a positive feedback. I have been looking for a while in another threats, most of them cabin crews, who received that mail before an invitation for the next step. It is true that by now they should be checking all applications in order to be sure who are on track, just wonder if that means you passed it or not.

Thank you guys, and good luck to everyone.

Happy landings.

dboy 2nd Sep 2014 17:54
