@Flyavit @787galaxy

I applied through my flight school, it's probably a different process than if you apply directly to them, so I'm not sure I would have any relevant data that could enlighten your queries about the emails (literally all of the emails were exchanged between me and my flight school, who then contacted THY. I never got directly contacted by THY). But if you still want to know, I got the email from my flight school about the interview date yesterday (sunday). I'm joining as a cadet btw, just graduated from flight school

I am still waiting. Hopefully they will tell us this week or next week !

By the way, any idea about the sim ? Is it hard ? A320 or what ?

And the interview ? Is there any technical question or only human resource questions ?

regards.

I am still waiting as well. I don't wanna give up but I thought that they were going to send us the email with the dates last week or this week at least. Damn this is a loooong wait hahaha.

I have the same question, if we are already chosen and go there or we are still on the 'pre-selection'.

October is coming and we are still without any date :(

Cheers!

you are selected to go there and do 3 days assessment, if it was successful then you will get a contract once you get type rated .
I think they are finishing the current assessments with current candidates then they are starting to schedule us and send to us .

It's pretty chilled. Actually I had an amazing time, there's so much to do while you're there, and had good laughs with the other candidates. For the assessment they only seemed to care about the sim (group exercise and personal interview had no impact on the results). I had a sim on the A320, but you could also end up doing it on the A330, 777 or 737 (it's random, you don't choose). They didn't make me follow the sim profile that was sent to me at all. Since I had never flown an airbus before they told me to just fly like it was an intruction lesson, not an examination (it's 1h PF, with a THY cpt as PM). I don't wanna give you guys too many details because what I had was VERY different than what some of the other candidates had (they passed with different examiners, so the plane changed, the procedures were completely different than what I did, some examiners were much more strict...) so I don't wanna be misleading. If you're not type rated it's very easy, there are no emergencies. You just fly the plane and do some approaches. I didn't even have to do a SID (some did though). If you're type rated they'll put you on your TR aircraft and make you do EFATOs and emergencies on top of what I had.
