It seems that there is not a definite practice how are cadets contacted once they have applied for a TR with CAE. Can anyone, please, comment who recently was contacted for CV by CAE, when did they apply, what application number were given and when were they contacted. Thank you for your time and help! :)

For those asking if application number matters, my application number is below number 10, it is something like TR-000000000X, applied exactly 8 months ago and still never contacted... Despite the fact that I am young, qualified, and went through good schools....I guess it is a lottery.. But doesn't matter anymore since I got a job with another airline.

Hi all
I have a question for everybody already passed sim session...
Ryanair asking for flight school report... And for theory exams certificate released by caa... Do they ask also for cpl/ir exam certificate or skills ck list or is it enough the license??

epp654 28th Mar 2016 08:35

Hello Peterfly1

They ask for flight school report. My school had a perfect and all inclusive report. The all-pass theory was issued to me when i passed all the theories (only the examiner's signature and stamp)

CPL/IR is on your license. If it is valid it is ok.
My school's report said that "I have passed successfully on the fiirst attempt the IR and the MEP and the SEP examination" so... no prob.

Hi epp654

Did you have references from high school/academic on your interview ?
I know you pass the interview, did you have any 738 sim, preparation before assessment?
Thx
Martin

epp654 28th Mar 2016 15:20

Martiniireland,

I had references from Flight school, My university, my employer.
About the preparation 2 hours were ok for me. I strongly recomend it.

At least 1hour

Fieldins 31st Mar 2016 12:14

No, I mean how many time I have to reply to this email! (CV, etc...)

AMS 31st Mar 2016 13:33

Fieldins

You need to send them ONE email with all the information they need. You do not need to send them many emails etc. People hate that.

Follow the instructions they provide on their email.

You need to send them one CV or what ever they have asked for.

Thats it.

just my two pence worth - although Ive waited for years to get asked but doubt I;ll ever be asked!

Marchisio 31st Mar 2016 13:59

Fieldins,
If you ask for how much time you have there is no definite answer. It's up to CAE to decide how long they will wait for you to get back to them. I would not wait more than 1-2 weeks maximum. Then they will probably just continue with another guy in the big pile of applications. So get your flight done ASAP and send back the requested documents would be my advice. Good luck

I can't edit my profile anymore, just view it. I don`t know why
Anyone else?
