Would you post a link? I couldn't find it there :/ thanks!

I have some questions to those of you that have been to the assessment in Dublin.
Did the T/O briefing you gave include before V1, after V1 and backup plans and how detailed was it(short and simplified)? Have I understood it correctly that there is no checklist reading, you just have to call for the appropriate checklist (PM/PNF not reading it)? |
Interview
Hello Everyone, i'm going to have the assestment with Ryanair on the 26 August, anyone in the same date? :ok:
|
Guys is there anyway that you could post if you have been called under the new CAE application form for interview or if you had gotten the 'Your CV has been sent to RYR for approval' before the change to the new application form? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure extra GA time won't give you any advantage with RYR. I doubt it will hurt either. I would suggest you go ahead and do it if it is something you really want to, as you may not have that opportunity in the future (at least for a while), but don't do it as a stepping stone to RYR. you do, however, need to be fully EASA before you apply to RYR. |
Ryanair Interview and Sim Assessment (merged)
I applied for Ryanair late june and received a mail two weeks later where they asked for my CV. A few weeks later I replied with my CV and then a few days after that they sent me a mail and told me to re-apply. I did that, but I didn't send a new CV or anything. Its now been more than three weeks since I sent them my CV and I haven't heard anything. Should I just wait and see what happens, or should I maybe ask if they received the CV. I'm afraid I have done something wrong and that they are still waiting for my CV. Or do you maybe think I started back as scratch when I was told to re-apply? I'm confused and not really sure what do so I appreciate inputs. ;)

To Reimsrocket: Dublin interview
They'll let you do the T/O Briefing that you're more confortable with, your MCC one...etc The only thing you have to do is state it clearly so both PF and PNF are all good with it.
With the checklists, you just have to request them to the examiner whenever corresponds, he'll then check it and reply to you. Anyway, don't worry too much about it, they're quite friendly and will help you and clarify all these things before the actual interview. Offtopic: For the time frames, I applied in Nov'14, got the email and call in March'15, interview in April, starting the TR in Sept. |
2nd Sept

I have the assessment 2nd September too. |
Received an email today asking for CV after re-submitting under the new system. There's also a few question to be answered about completion of training etc. However, at the bottom of the email is this line
"If you have been contacted OR attended an Assessment day with Ryanair on a previous occasion, please do not respond to this email. Your previous application will be in our files, and if the Airline requires your re-application in the future, you would then be contacted accordingly. Regrettably, it is not possible to reply to emails from re-applicants to this program." Since I did an (unsuccessful) assessment through OAA in 2011, this may count me out before I've even started. |
Has anyone been called since they changed the application online?
Is there any way of updating your details. My medical was renewed today and is due to expire in couple of weeks and therefore they will have an expired medical on record. When I try to update it says "Our records show that I have applied for this programme." |
@mikemorgan81 When did you re-apply?
@mikemorgan81 I know of someone who failed an assessment many years ago. He has since built up time flying Dash 8's and they have hired him now but he would have like 2,000 airline hours. |
I reapplied on July 28th when the new system came online. I've had a CAE account for years previously.

I tried to pm you back but it says no private mail accepted

Hello MikeMorgan81!
if you allow me, which bases have you selected? Rgds |
Bristol, Birmingham and East Midlands.
|
Hi,
thank you MikeMorgan! just to know if they want pilots for specific bases. Does anyone know that? Best Rgds |
There is a huuuuuuuuuge waiting list for UK bases.
Swarm: the recruitment figures that I told you in previous posts are based in secure sources from inside the company. Also, to reinforce it, I can tell you every 2 weeks there are 2 courses, one in EMA and another at AMS, 12 pilots each. 24 pilots time 26 weeks gives you more than 600 per year :ok: this excludes CTC cadets and other occasions when they start courses every week, with is quite rare but happened. |

Hi guys.
Trying to get a feel for the recruitment since 28th July when the new online system was introduced. Anybody applied on or since 28th and had a call for the CV/phone interview? I wonder if the base preferences have an impact on whether the computer picks you out of the hat and asks for your CV nowadays... |
