Ryan Air....what are my chances..?
I'm a NZ citizen with a Swedish wife (ie right of abode and work in EU) - FAA ATPL, Australian CPL, NZ CPL and B737-Efis ratings with 1650 hours on type.
Gonna move to Sweden soon and was wondering if anyone knew what my chances would be to get a job with Ryan air - and try and get based in Stockholm.
I know there would be a JAA licence requirement but thought that maybe I'd be able to do a licence conversion through Ryan's training dept...?
Does anyone know of anyone (or are there any kiwis out there in JAA land) that has done a JAA conversion recently?
thanks!

RYR does not do licence conversions.. all training other than recurrent is outsourced, you pay your own.
The changes of getting in are small there are hunderds of well qualified people on their database.. specially with SAS and the like firing a lot of medium houred guys.
Best change is through the designated training providers as described on the RYR website.
Good luck anyway..
