BA to recruit direct entry '0' hour?
Just had a look on ppjn:
"About 10 cadets and pilots on secondment to BACX are being employed per month. Direct entry openings are predicted for the end of Summer 2003. These will be open to zero flight time and type rated pilots (it is not yet known which types will be required)."
This true? Doesn't seem like BA that's all

Don't confuse the phrase 'zero flight time'! In this case is will be used to indicate that all the type training will be done on the sim and the standard 6 circuits before type rating issue will not be required. Hence the pilot will have zero flight time on the type when his/her rating is issued. So the first time the pilot will fly the aircraft will be with pax and a line training skipper sitting in the left seat.
