Airline of the future ?

There you are, finally got the job. The company decides to send you to a base 100 miles away.

"Right then, where's my hire car?" you ask.
ER NO! the company says you use your own car.

"OK, well which hotel am I staying in?"
NO, you sort out your own, where ever, at your cost. Just make sure you check in at ten!

This dosen't happen yet, but it may and the worse thing is, some will accept these T's & C's right from day one just to get a job.

Well...thanks, but that "discussion" doesn't really answer my question.

Anyone else?

First officer programs arent as common in Europe as they are in America. I don't know of any, but I am sure if you ask Michael O'Leary he would think it a splendid idea. Passengers and pilots paying to be in his aeroplanes.

Could have something to do with unions and European aviation authorities preffering people to get paid for working instead of the other way around.

If you are rich try this www.jetlink.lu
They have a CRJ-200 program and are planning to start with an A320 program as well.

Good luck.
