Hi guys!
I actually have my finger on the trigger to send my application form to Easyjet to try and go on type rating selection but i only have a little trouble....
The application form asks if you hold a JAR licence wich i don't but i'd get a full JAR ATPL upon completion of the JAR-25 rating under CAA survey as i've got everything needed but it...
Can anybody tell me who i should communicate with in Easyjet's selection staff to get along with that little point where i feel i shouldn't answer nor yes nor no!
Cheers!

I stayed here Cheap & cheerful, but nice enough. There's a Little Thief next door as well, but it wasn't open when I left for the test centre. Not that I could of eaten anything anyway
Was about 10 mins to Bournemouth Airport, but they said the traffic can get bad.
Good Luck

All,
Have been reading all your comments and information with interest.
I am very fortunate to have got through the selection process and been offered a place. Obviously over the moon!!
I would be extremely interested in some feedback from anyone who is on the actual training scheme at the moment, at any stage, just to get a little more real time information as it were.
For all those applying, I wish you all the best. As has been mentioned there are no tricks or hidden agenda's. I think the old adage of being yourself and all that good stuff will stand you in very good stead. A little gen up on the Easy Jet organisation and fleet will not be wasted either.

DavidFuturePilot,
Congrats at having a "second bite at the cherry"! Can I ask when you first attended stage 3? I was hoping to have heard from CTC before now about re-applying...

Jimbols6,
At present I am awaiting course allocation as I cannot start for a little while due to other commitments. I will only find out if either of the airlines are planning to sponsor the course once all the details have been finalised. I'm afraid that will not be until the summer.

Heya guys, well this seems like a very popular course judging on the size of this thread!!
Im just curious as to what people wore to the second stage?? I know this is a very trivial question but i can just picture myself turning up casual and everyone else fully suited and booted!!!
After all first impressions are everything but then theres the worry of overdress too!
Any advice much appreciated

I don't think you can go overdressed to something like this. I'd imagine everybody will be going looking their best. At every stage you're going to be being watched, interviewed and assessed after all.
Your applying to do a job where ultimately you will be expected to be the CEO of an airliner and exude professionalism to the passengers. Wear a suit!
Think about the two possibilities: even if everyone else is shirtsleeves and casual, you're not going to be frowned upon by the assessors if you're smarter- you've made a real effort. If you turn up casual and everybody else is shiny, creased and spiffing it's going to be a whooooole lot more awkward I'd imagine!
My two pence. I think this is applicable to all jobs/assessments but especially this one.
All the best, I'm getting my PPL after graduation then hoping to apple to schemes like this myself.

"apple to schemes like this" is a turn of phrase where I come from, meaning "apply to schemes like this"...just in case anyone thought I'd made a spelling mistake...honest.

Hey it's good to see that people are getting called back for the later stages if they just missed out getting through, e.g. at stage 3/4
Know a friend of a friend who just missed out on stage 4 due to what seemed to be quite minor reasons, so hopefully they'll be back and through soon enough, bout 6 months ish was it on the call backs??
For all u guys who get to stage 3, like has been said, just relax and enjoy it, make sure u listen to the others in your team ( big point that), and if u make stage 4, congrats, it's a great laugh, not as stressful as u might think!
Wishing everyone good luck and hope to see u in NZ sometime soon

Yeah seems to be 6 months. One of the guys at my Stage 4 unfortunately didn't manage to get through, but think can re-try in 6 months. Glad he can have another go, I was gutted for him.

All I can say is be yourself and relax. That is the key to success. It was a great experience and the wannabes and CTC-McAlpine staff were the most professional people I have met.
I'd just like to say thanks to pprune and everyone here for all the help and advice and to say congrats to everyone who made it through Stage 4 on the 16th. What an experience! And for everyone who made it through to Stage 3 from the Stage 2 on the 14th: good luck, relax, be yourself and enjoy it!
Screwballs
