I passed my Stage 2 recently, and it's nothing too much to worry about apaletta! Takes about 3 hours and the staff there were really nice and made everyone feel relaxed. The Maths and Physics sections were GCSE level and the questions got progressively harder (no calculator but all the formulas you need are given). I found that the CAE package that you can buy went into a lot more detail than you need for most of the topics, but make sure you're really up to scratch on you speed/distance/time and fuel burn rate calculations and you'll be fine here. I bought the latestpilotjobs package which I found extremely helpful for all the other elements of the assessment.

Thanks so much for the info!

Looking at either getting the Latestpilotjobs or Pilotaptitudetest package.

What was the ADAPT test itself like - aside from the maths/physics?

How hard was the ADAPT tests compaired to the latestpilotjobs tests?

I'm scoring higher than the average but I don't feel confident on either easy/med/hard.

Hi!

I used latest pilot jobs too. And I passed. You'll certainly be at an advantage if you use a joystick with that.
I wouldnt say there was too much of a step up. However maths + physics wise I didnt use latest pilot jobs, instead I used the CAE bundle which helped me the most as I wasnt so strong at maths.

Just be focused on the day and you should be fine. Remember to take your time as you can have breaks whenever you want.

Thanks. I've been ripping though the CAE maths and physics at work and I've been scoring well first time on the tests. I've got a few more quiet nights ahead in which I can revise in peace and quiet.
I'm most worried about the CAE version of the "Advanced Flight Simulator" . I feel like I'm just best guessing within the 4 second window , I'm still better than average but that isn't instilling much confidence.
