Officer Kite,
Where did you hear that about the refurbishment. I know their accomodation is full but I managed to get booked until October 2018 so Im assuming they aren't knocking it down! Maybe they will just move me to one of the other two sites if they do though.
I elected to go with the onsite as I didn't like the sound of trying to find a short term let for 6 months in a student town. But also because this is a second career for me and I didn't want to be that creepy 30yo old dude rocking up to a house share meet and greet!

Hi Life Crisis (that sounds rude i do apologise )
I was told by the OAA accommodation team that they were not giving onsite accommodation to anybody, I asked if it was just for easyJet MPL guys and she insisted it was for everyone and that all the accommodation team will be doing in the future is organising a local network where they can direct cadets to view homes with known landlords etc
You said they gave you accommodation till 2018? That's annoying for me considering what I was told :/

Officer Kite,
I did enrol well in advance (six months ahead) last year and they did say they were very short on accomodation but I've paid for it. The bloke mentioned something about a chance that we would end up in hotels for a bit. Maybe I just got in before they ran out.
I have been in previous accomodation shortages like this before with my old employer and they worked it out well. You think they would just rent several houses then charge the standard rate on their website, they would turn a half decent profit as well! But I am not up to speed with UK rental law maybe thats a no-no! Good luck!

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to figure out the best way to get my licenses and join EZY, and on the CTC website I've found this:"ROUTE 1 ONLY: PARTICULARLY OUTSTANDING EASYJET MPL APPLICANTS WITH COURSE START DATES IN 2017 MAY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR THEIR TRAINING LOAN TO BE UNDERWRITTEN BY EASYJET".
If I remember correctly last year the statement was a little more vague, I was wondering if anyone has already got an easyJet-underwritten loan and if this is for female aspiring pilots only. It doesn't seem this is the case, but you know...

carlox041,
If it's the typical CTC selection process, which I can't see why it won't be, then check out the link in my bio/profile and the selection pages may help you. Or, failing that use Google to search for Diben Manor selection.
Google Search for "Dibden Manor Selection Test"

For those that have passed Phase 3 at CTC, what was the most challenging aspect of the interview?
Personally (and this goes back a few years) the most challenging part of these interviews for me is to find specific examples to the "tell me about a time when ..." type questions. It's fine having examples prepared beforehand, but the questions are very specific and it is unlikely your example will fit exactly what they've asked you ... so you have to improvise on the spot and think of how to fix your examples to suit the question, whilst not tripping yourself up and not waffling, as well as actually saying stuff that will get you the marks i.e. strongly demonstrating the necessary competencies and not just saying anything that comes to mind.
One thing I will say is that I was only asked 3 of these questions, which is very low compared to a previous easyJet interview where I was asked 8. I failed that interview so whether I was asked 8 because all my answers were rubbish and the interviewer kept giving me new chances, or whether it's just luck of the draw on the day (I had a pilot and not a HR person) I don't know - but that was that anyway.
You'll be lucky to get a pilot too ... I had one as I said and he seemed less interested in the HR side of things (much to my delight!) and more into the 'real' stuff ... flying, knowledge on flying, what you'll be doing, your future as a pilot etc etc

Does anyone know what the course plan is for the OAA MPL?
Nothing yet seems to have been said or planned out. Do you go to Phoenix or is at all done in the UK like previous OAA MPL courses?
