For those that are interested;
I've Just spoken to Javier at BBVA UK.
BBVA may offer a pilot training loan to fund course fees IF you have passed the assessment tests for CTC, OAA or FTE.
Course fees for PTC (and other providers) will not be funded.

All secured against a UK or Spanish property. It's no good just having the property to secure it either, you need a guarantor(s) who meet a minimum criteria that BBVA set out.

The loans they offer are indeed secured, but only available to students of the three providers listed previously.

Well then it looks like I don't have any options then. I can't see why they would say that, if it's secured and it's for an actual scheme. Doesn't make any sense.
