Here in the UK our rules are slightly different. P1 also means pilot flying time also P1 U/S (or PICUS-pilot flying under supervision). P2 are co-pilot/first officer hours. Captain are exactly that and Dual is under instruction, generally training hours.

Less than one month later, yes they will! I could see what he meant though, this new BA scheme seemed too good to be true when the rumours started spreading but now its confirmed it has to be some of the best news the industry has had for a long time. Obviously not only for cadet-entry pilots but experienced ones too.
BA and others like them will never go back to hiring the brightest youngsters they can find. They certainly won't sponsor anyones fATPL training ever again, that is long gone.
