BA is recruiting
I'm not a pilot so bare with me a moment.
Rumour has it that BA will be recruiting engineering staff soon too. Why the sudden big push on recruiting? Is the demographic that bad? Is the 787/A380 going to put too much pressure on the current batch?
Just askin.

sound like they don't want guys with 2000h or more.
I bet they don't recruit(just satisfy some UK law about employment)or just looking around or have already selected who they want.

segments
I like the segment split BA has gone for but dont fully get the ratio it went for.
With 4-6 flights a day on shorthaul ops that means its possible to meet segment requirement within 1-2 months but it takes over 5 months to reach the hours?

BA
Thanks for your reply,
I had seen their website and the requirements...I have a lot of turboprop time and was wondering if anyone with an Irish license had been lucky enough to get a call.
Wishful thinking on my part!
