Good idea or bad?
Hello,
I recently started looking into Pilot training courses and I have completed the assessments, the thing is its a massive investment and from what I can gather there seems to be all jobs out there even though the FTO's say otherwise.
I am just looking for feedback from people who have done the training whether its a good idea or not. What is the current job outlook like and is there any hope of getting a return on the investment? Basically is it a good idea?

Go modular
Hi Levi162,
I know you're new to PPRUNE, but I still think you'll get lots of troll/search the forum comments on this question.
I don't think the term investment is applicable here. Well, not in a financial context anyway.
Go modular if you want to get maximum return (or minimum loss - I have 2 friends with FATPLs, one is trying to get an instructor job, the other works part time in Tesco).
Good luck whatever though.
