Helicopter vs Plane... where are the jobs?
Heyy all,
Ever since I was a little kid, I have had a passion for planes. I have recently be struggling between whether I want to be a heli pilot or a airplane pilot. My parents want me to be a airlines pilot, but I just feel like my true calling is in the heli feild. I guess what my question to you all is, where is there more jobs? Flying helicopters or airplanes? Where do you see the future jobs of aviation heading towards? If you are a professional pilot that is EMPLOYED please give me your email or shoot me an email at [email protected] so I could ask a few more questions. That would be fantastic! Thanks

There is definitely more fixed wing aircraft and jobs than heli jobs (Based on no stats or facts, just common sense).
If you really want to get into Heli flying, you may want to consider the military.

Might be worth having a look in these threads to start off:

and

There's a lot of info to digest there, but usually most questions have already been asked and answered.
All the best.
