EK A380 + Exam Results !!!

Hi ppl, I just finished with the Emirates' A380 private investigation, the avionics bay was mostly damaged (burned) mainly because of poor cooling & high heat emissions, where they had to deploy the RAT to land the aircraft at DXB...they were keeping it in hangar H (away from anybody's sight...I had to walk all the way from hagar B, but only the A380 Technical support crew from Airbus were allowed in...!!!, so, simply I asked the policeman (who gave me the info not knowing that it is classified ).

...sorry for most of North America cadets...no one expected it...anyways, hope we find out in Oct. the assessment dates & get really ready.

No, every test is word for word the same, how could Etihad run different tests, there would be complaints from here and there about somewhere being easier than somewhere else.

As someone said earlier, the next time around it should be easier as we know the format, if not the exact tests coming!

Were the exact same tests administered in all the testing locations? Surely Etihad would have varied them up a bit, by that i mean same topics different content???
I remeber there were pen markings on my test in NYC.

I think that the kid who got through was the one who forgot to hand in one of the parts of the test and everyone was like "OMG theres only 38 answer sheets WTF!!!!!!" Sylvia, (the insanely smokin F/A) was like "Ya, only 38" We should have gotten married or something. I cry everyday now

I think this figure of 150 includes the Emirati nationals they are recruiting as cadets.

Definetly agree with HDP. Even if they dont need anymore cadets, they have to hire/assess local cadets!! Thats just government policy within ALL industries in the UAE!

Fred, glad to hear your in AD! How hot and humid is it there right now?! Actually the weather should be a bit better, its August thats the killer

Welcome to AD...

Hi cadets...good luck for you all...

Nice to see you tonight Fred (& other cadets), best of luck to you & to other EU candidates for your Psychomotor Tests tomorrow, hope to see you tomorrow to continue our trip(s)

about the 150 cadet training per year, I guess it will be a 1:2 ratio (Other Nationalities : Emarati )...

I didn't read it like that. It says:

The Etihad cadet pilot programme is expanding rapidly with 150 candidates expected to be recruited per year. In addition to UAE nationals candidates are also recruited worldwide.
Looks like there's the UAE nationals, and in addition, they have some international cadets...

No calculators allowed, but you can use scrap paper if you want...

Personally I didn't need any, found them all easy enough to do in my head.

From my information the 150 that Etihad mentions should be 100 nationals and 50 internationals, odds dont seem to bad really!!
