Eagle Jet Intl -Part 91 Turbine PIC
Hello,
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the Eaglejet International Part 91 Turbine course? - where you fly PIC on a Twotter or King Air C90 for skydiving ops. Please share any relevant info, and whether it was worth it.
Thanks

In general . .
Thers a lot of info around the forums but never the less,
STAY AWAY. They will cheat you and go back on all sorts of promises.
Simpley try to get all the great promises in writing, especially begining and ending periods of the program AND what happens if they dont come up with the product.
Promise youll start seing slowly the real face behind it.
Remember, they are not an Airline, Go directly to the companies, youll save money for your self and for the airline.
Simpley make them a better offer then H. does.
Take some time into finding out who they work with and good luck.
Thats the way it shold be. They are not giving you NOTHING for your money that you cant get for your self. Nothing but a middleman.
Best of luck and done fall that way, it will take longer but it will be yours.
Happy new year!!

Hi
Im saying go to the companies and offer them yourself.
Donno what the deal is but if the man asked about EJ, hence pay for flying, I said you might as well go directly to the airlines and offer them a better deal for yourself.
If you mean do I think it is OK to have it this way, well I think I made it some what clear what I think of the whole EJ operation concept so no my friend, one nust NOT pay to work. Never.
What is true is that we should expect to invest more then previously in order to find a job, in what way you ask? well thats a differant disscusion.
In any case, paying the airlines, and via a middle man???
Cheers.

Jay Solo if you want to fly the Twin Otter it is not necessary to pay for it ... due to the shortage of pilots a lot of new guys go to the A320 or B737 and Twin Otter operator are desperate for pilots in many countries ... the best thing to do is to go to a famous training center in Toronto and get typed and you'll get some good opportunities to fly for a salary !!!

Thanks for the reply guys. However what I am going to do is use the money to invest in the good ole instructor rating and rack up the hours that way.
( Probably the easiest and one of the most rewarding flying jobs to get into when you finish school!)

Another newbie asking for advice...
I got late into this thread, but i was researching some info about my next step (im finishing my ICAO CPL with near 200TT), and found about Eaglejet and FS, both are similary priced....U$ 8900 for 100 PIC on the DHC 6 and U$8750 for the FS course.
Im not quite sure what way should i take since my situation its kind of strange, or particular.
I live in Chile where's very few DHC-6 operators and generally speaking turboprop and executive aviation, so geting even in a PA-31 would be very hard and some times you would not be paid just because "you got some hours for your logbook so that's a benefit for you". Most of this jobs are given to retired guys from the services since they get a good bunch of hours in the military.
So i want to try everywhere in the world where they want to give a chance to a low timer, caribbean, africa, maldives no matter where.Even coming back to my country would be treated more profesionally with PIC time in any truboprop.
I came up with that the DHC-6 its a good rating to start and its common for starters to get in to that plane.
Please if someone has taken any of those hour packages please can comment about it? and the FS course too.
So looking forward to that, what would you think its a better choice getting the PIC Time or the FS course and the ask for a Job Somewhere?
And where would I be more likely to get it?
Thanks Fellas!
(no chance to get Euro passport or Greencard, not even in the 10th generation of my family I can find some european or american)

What's wrong with Eagle Jet? Just came across them myself....although it seems ridiculously cheap for 100 hour program..
http://www.eaglejet.net/TurboPropProgram.htm
But it's very tempting and have been considering this. I am a very low time pilot looking to go overseas and need some heavy time building programs on multi's. Can anyone recommend something else if this place is no good?
Thanks in advance
