Heli ppl/cpl funding?

Hope ive posted in the right forum. 100% beginner.

I'm looking for a drastic career change & have been looking into commercial flying as a challenging/rewarding move (oil rigs or charter).

Ive been quoted £52k+ for a complete training package...

Can anyone advise on funding/grants etc that may be available to assist in raising the £40k i have left to find?

Thanks for the help guys/gals, much appreciated.

As far as I am aware, there are no assisted funding schemes in place for potential helicopter pilots. If you want to fly helicopters, you will have to pay for the training yourself. Commercial helicopter flying is fairly difficult to break into; most of the industry's new blood comes from the military. However, have a look in the Rotorheads forum for more specific advice.
