Does anybody know if there is a time period I have to wait for between canceling my application and reapply again through CAE?
Is it possible to reapply straight after having retracted the application?
Cheers guys

Well I applied Sunday 16th October and still the wait continues

I'm a flying instructor with 2100 hours mainly SEP and wondering if this will count against me, they seem to want 200 hours and wet behind the ears?

It seems like a lottery, no one knows what/who they prefer. Some people with thousands of turboprop hours has been invited several years after applying.

I still watch this forum and wonder if people really think the company's are waiting for them. WOW, 16 oktober. Are you allready waiting 3 weeks!??!?!?! It's a shame man!!!!! Sue them!!!!

Oh wait, I waited 1.5 years to get invited by a company without complaining and just working my ass off to get an invitation by one of the 200 company's I applied.

Don't be ignorant, and just work hard so you will be prepared when you are lucky enough when you get invited eventually....

Just my 2 cents!

sim737, my friend was asked this over the initial phone call from CAE, he said that he had failed one exam with a tiny marigin. He was sacked right away over the phone, he started argueing about it since he passed the exam well a few days later but was told it's non negotiable. I don't know how it works if you apply through OAA.

I applied via CAE in april of this year, and still havn't heard anything. I've tried to cancel my application and then apply again to recycle everything. But it doesn't seem to help. All exams passed first time, and they've taken a lot of pilots from my school recently. Don't know if I've done anything wrong. Do you guys write anything in the comments?

It's a lottery, just wait and hope for your turn, some people get called after several years.

@infamous

How can you say anywhere in Ireland is the "in" place in the republic?! As NO ONE from these schools have been INVITED FOR AN ASSESSMENT since May-June or so. Including the school in Cork that you mentioned.

Now before other people comment, read what it says. Cause I know someone will say "I knew a few Irish lads in my TR course in September". So my pre-response is... They had their assessment May/June. You won't find them on the TR courses in Nov/Dec/Jan!

Ryanair type-rating

This question is for anyone who has passed the Ryanair assessment.
How is the Boeing 737-800ng type-rating payment done? Is it in one payment or is it in a monthly basis?
Hope to hear an answer soon, Best wishes.

Assessment insight!!!!

Leaving on the side the fact that takes ages to get called for an assessment and it's not really predictable who, why and when the call...

Is there anybody that has an assessment coming up soon?????

Or anybody that just went for a "gold day" and wish to share tips and scenarios of what happened etc...

PLEASE POST!!! or pvt message!!! ;-)
