Anyone could give advise refering a company called Jetlink and the programs (specially CRJ) they are offering in their web www.jetlink.lu at the moment?

Has anyone had first hand experience with the company JetLink that does First Officer courses with Adriana and Air Arabia ? Thinking about doing a course with them need some info.

I have heard through the grapevine that the guy organising is on his own and very young - 23 to 25 years - totally no experience in the business - no TRTO or FTO whatsoever. Has no airline experience, merely contacts. Just the 'linker/coupler' between you and SFA where the sim training is done. Line training is at unknown companies - somebody stated Air Balcan... that's probably why it's not mentioned on the website!!
And 500hrs line, useless - the airlines like Ryanair just want you to have the 100hrs so they can get you asap on the line without an instructor on board!
The whole thing seems like a big money scam. Just somebody trying to use people to get some pocket money. I know he approached some FTO's that simply didn't trust his intentions!
I thought they had interviews at SFA last week - anybody went out there?? Maybe it was just an interview to check your bank account.
Watch out guys!

I have actually met this chap Steven Heselmans for an interview for last years A320 course.
The interview was mostly conducted by three representatives (one of them a senior pilot) from the linetraining airline, which was Adria Airways (Star Alliance Member). The reps. from Adria gave me a thorough one hour interview and screening, asking questions regarding performance and DOC 8168 procedures, jeppesen charts etc. the only thing I didn't have to do back then was a sim check. I was accepted, but decided to go somewhere else for a 737 TR instead.
I find the way he has arranged his course an acceptable solution. You get your typerating with a well known TRTO (Sabena) and linetraining with the partner airline, which used to be Adria Airways or Air Arabia, best of both worlds really.... just very expensive.
BTW. I never had any problems getting response to my e-mails or phone calls. And he did not look aged 23 to 25 at all.

call companies if they want money, I bet they want.
and make a nice website and you are set.
with the thousand of desperated pilots ready to sell their grandmom, there is at least one who will pay the 60000 euro for this jetlink scam.
I would not even pay a compay who have some "experience" in this business.

I also think the thousands of desperate pilots is slightly exagerated...
Look at the PPRuNe ab-initio holding pool we set up recently. I am sure that most of the qualified people with current licence and ratings are not in the list yet but I think a lot of them are as all serious jobseekers I know often visit pprune.
Just a thought - I know that the last info sessions for the SSTR's in Belgium ended up with almost zero interest.
Serious qualified jobseekers are becoming a minority and look at the guys and girls in the schools - if there are any they'll be finished in a year or two...and look at the latest adds in Flight International, hours going down from 1500 to 500 and now even 250 and to be honest I think that if there's noone around with 500 on type anymore, finding the guy with 250 on type won't be around either...
