Question Parc Contract at Air Mauritius

Hi boys and girls

Parc aviation is looking for 340 2nd officers with some interesting money: 5000 euro/month with shack. They throw in some extra 700 for food and beer. Have heard from some mates in the gulf that a lot of guys are very unhappy and many have left in big numbers. What's the take?

I have requested some info on the on another forum, listed below.

PPRuNe Forums » Rest of the World & Non-English Language Forums » African Aviation » Air Mauritius - not the ideal paradise!

It has been up and running since last year, with a lot of agro being expressed, but I thought that things had sort of cooled off... Now it starts making sense that if indeed many are voting with their feet, they are desperate to get some drivers for the peak period till end Jan 2006. Any AM drivers out there? Cast some light guys!

try asking the joks that scooted off to Etihad and Emirates... The MK fellas told me that they have declard a dispute with the company on working conditions and that the thing is in court now. They have lost somethin like 60 pilots in the last year alone! It is not all sweetness there.
