Atlantic Airlines Interview

Hi all,

I've got an interview with Atlantic coming up soon. I've done a search for previous material but I just wondered if any of you have any up to date info.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Flap up,

I am afraid I do not have any details, however, I do know a guy that went to Atlantic from the school I teach at, and the interview was very relaxed. I think the only technical question was 'what is assymetric blade effect?'.

Good luck with your interview.

Atlantic Airlines

I too have an AA interview and wanted to get prepared for a possible sim check which would be on the Kingair.

Anyone know where to get some kingair prep time in?

Any help received with great appreciation!

WO,

London Metropolitan University have a King Air simulator which they use for MCC training, it might be worth giving them a call, I am sure they could sort something out for you.

All the best.

Atlantic Airlines Interview

Hi,
As I am hooping to get an interview with Atlantic Airlines, I was just wondering if anybody has recently interviewed with AA, and what to expect?. Also, what were your qualification in regard to flying experience and flight hours, prior to the interview?
Thanks.

Has anybody heard from them regarding the interview on the 19th September for the ATR positions?

5150-What a waste of bandwith.
Atlantic/Atlantique - what does it matter.
ATR 42/72 and ATP all now in the group. All being recruited for.

Waste of bandwith - I was thinking that myself.

The fact that we're talking about two completely different companies doesn't seem to bother you.

I don't think 'Airlines' would be too impressed if you turned up to interview with an in-depth knowledge of ATR's.....

Do your research mate.

I suggest you do your research - it's not difficult - but just in case, I've made it easy for you:
Then click on the Atlantic link at the bottom.
Big hint - 'Air Atlantique group'.
That wasn't hard now was it.

Silverknapper:

I`d listen to 5150 if I were you !!! He knows what he`s talking about, trust me !

The fact that the aircraft have the same livery and the website not being up to date is a bit misleading to the outside world but they are very much separate airlines! This is all changing as we speak so people like yourself won`t get the facts wrong in the future, common mistake, don`t worry about it !

Till the End !

Your patronising attitude and complete lack of knowledge on what your commenting on will really stand you in good stead as a wannabe.

Best of luck, not that you'll need it.

Do any of you ****ing muppets actually work for the Atlantic / Atlantique / Highland group of companies, or are you all just trying to out wannabe each other by seeing who's got the most intricate knowledge of our slightly confusing and overlapping AOC structure?

Like most of the captains in this group of companies, I guess I have a vague awareness of which aircraft are on what AOC within the company group, but to be honest it's a deeply uninteresting and supremely irrelevant subject matter, and if I was interviewing any of you lot and you started trying to impress me with all this knowledge of what-aircraft-are-on-what-AOC, I would probably go to sleep with boredom within 30 seconds.

You will find if any of you make the interview, that the people interviewing you are likely to more interested in other more basic criteria like for example 'can you actually fly a plane' and 'are you a good bloke that isn't going to bore me to tears sitting next to me all day'. I'm afraid you've ALL just failed the Skytoddler selection on the basis of that one.

Regards

Luke

ATR's/ATP's

Atlantic/Atlantique - what does it matter. ATR42/72 and ATP all now in the group.
Silverknapper - it matters because if you did your research even better than you suggested others to do you would find that after the management buy-out last year of Atlantic Airlines from the Air Atlantique Group, they are now a completely independent company, and if the person in question requested information about the company (probably relating to a future possible interview) they deserve accurate information.

Atlantic Airlines have no ATR's, but they have recently acquired a few ATP's which are being recruited for.

Nice attitude by the way.

"Atlantic/Atlantique - what does it matter"

Hmm. Despite what silverknacker and skytodger think, any recruiter would probably expect a candidate to know basic stuff like this. Whether it is interesting enough to keep him from falling asleep within 30 seconds is immaterial...

ps 5150 and space_odyssey both work for this outfit so they're probably worth listening to (unlike some other bull****ters mincing around this thread)
