getting my first job

I applied for my first job last week with CityJet, Ryanair,Aer Lingus,Aer Arann,Easy Jet etc.... I have not been called with a job offer yet ! I have 250 hrs and an mcc cert, what am I doing wrong I thought the airlines would be beating down my door?

For some people it can take up to 4 years to find a job, very few get a job straight after training, have you not been reading pprune recently!?
I'm not sure exactly what the situation is with Ireland but in the UK airlines aren't that desperate for pilots yet and i'm sure its the same in Ireland.

This is just my opinion of course but if you go integrated and get a good grade in ATPL's you wont wait long (straight out of flight school for me). All my other chums in my class waited less that 2 weeks.....
