Who do you have to talk with?

If you go to an airline to ask for a job as a pilot. Who do you have to talk with: flight operations department, instruction department, chief pilot,...?

X-Pilot,

These days the only entity you speak to to begin with is the computer as most companies expect you to apply on-line.
If the numbers don't match their requirements it's unlikely that your information will even come out at the other end but I may be wrong. Either way it's a cheaper way for them of keeping applications on file than having 50 filing cabinets in the cellar.

You don't 'go to an airline' ... you send them a CV to whoever it specifies on their website (or on a airline contact details site like PPJN and then if they call you for an interview, they'll tell you who it's with.
