Female pilots in Emirates/Gulf Air

Emirates don t employ female pilots from what I understand. They are still looking for the right girl for the job. I have asked a few Emirates pilots if they knew if women pilots would be recruited and they said no, usually followed by a laugh. I fly for Air Asia a Muslim airline and they have two female pilots. One local and myself, a foreigner.

We have a lady FO at GF. She is French and a joy to fly with. She is based in AUH

well wat are the requirements to get in these schemes coz i m interested in joing one little miss

I believe its all changing at the moment but when I did it all i had was the usual low hours. Lots of tests, (eg. maths, personality, tech etc) and a sim ride to see how you fly manually. Normally a search in the PPRUNE archives will produce the info you require.
