Training in US (will UK airlines accept me?)

Considering the UK costs basically twice as much, can someone please comment on whether they think it would be a good idea to train in the US at somewhere like Delta Connection Flight School. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for the info. But I am considering on getting a JAA ATPL(F) in America, is that a problem at all?

Waspie - Have you checked the attached list of CAA (JAR - FCL) approved flight training organisations? I can't see Delta on the list but it could be that they are awaiting approval or perhaps operate under another banner? Be very careful though.
