Did mine at EPTA Bournemouth. 3 days in the classroom. 20 hours in a Tristar sim. Instructors very good. Simulator, awesome. It wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either.

Oxford's one is top draw.......4 days classroom working out everything u forget from ur groundschool then 20 hrs in 5 days in their B737-400 full motion sim which is banging...............even have the added bonus of a video cam in the sim, so u can video ur balls ups for ur mates at home

cost............er £2800 (I think) a few quid more than most but well worth it

OK,

So here is a question. I have a JAA commercial certificate without a MCC rating (or signoff or whatever it is called), however, I do have a US certificate also and I have over 2000 hours in a mulit crew operation in the USA. Can I next time I get my JAA certificat renewed just get a signoff for the MCC as well?

BAe

Can't go wrong at BAe if still running. Ok HS125 instead of 737 at Oxford but MCC is not a type rating. This is from two majors mouths. Rather the extra mile BAe go with regards to JOC than the fancy 737 sim.

Short and sweet, but I had a great time, learnt a lot and listened to what I was told by the airlines.

Good luck and enjoy with no exam involved!!
