Is Germania Hiring (F100 operation)? Terms, Conditions and Morale?

Anyone know information about Germania and its new F100 operation? I understand that there are a lot of unemployed pilots in Germany now (with Aero Lloyd bankruptcy), but I'd like to know more about this operation.

Any information related to schedules, bases, pay, morale? Anyone currently work there who could provide some insider information about what it is like? I speak German and can work in Germany.

Appreciate any information. Vielen Dank!

Lightbulb Germania

Hi,

maybe they make a new application round in the beginning of 2004 - they have bases in Munich - Berlin and Stuttgart.
And you have to pay for the rating - it was around 20000 Euros.

Good luck

flugfisch,

Thank you for your response. Can you tell me a little about working for Germania in this operation? How do you like the schedules, pay, routes, rosters and the Fokker 100? As I may have a few other airline choices (I hope), I need to know whether I should commit my time and money to flying for Germania...

I appreciate your help.

Germania

Hi,
So first - I do not fly for Germania - I´m just one of those Wannebes....
At the moment I work for a Handling Company who deals with Germania.

If I speak with the stuff - it seems to be a nice to work for them - but the money seems to be qute bad - and for my thoughts - you spend 20000 Euros for the rating (a Fokker 100 rating) and afterwards you have to see how it works......

Everybody has to decides...
