Regarding turbo props ETC.

Who cares if you are flying a Sopwith Camel or a Tiger moth or a 747. It's a job you are after at the end of the day and if someone is paying you to do that job then so be it. I totally agree with new ATPL course graduates going on to turbo prop types first off. To be perfectly honest I would rather fly a 'pilots aeroplane' than some big fancy airbus type!
If you people are to be good pilots then you will want as much experience as possible on different types.
The best pilots I ever met had over 50 types on their log book.
I'm not having a go, I'm just expressing my feelings.
I'm afraid of the wrong type of people entering this special fraternity.
