I see ej are holding a pilot open day next week in Manchester. Anyone know of plans for a similar open day to be held in the south.
Is there anything to be learnt from attending that you can't glean from their website?I've 750tt including 550 multi turbine, but still no show of interest from them!

A couple of years back I was at a BALPA conference in London, during which the consistent theme was from people asking about what works as a CV sales pitch, and what does not - with the consensus of advice from ChiefPilots & OpsDirs being that “keep it on one page, and short & sweet”.
At some point in the proceedings the folks from easyjet presented their very orange promo video and to say that it went on, and on, and on, would be to understate it - though I will say that it did have a catchy backing track ( It's Beautiful Day, by U2 ) – after which the easyjet spokesman asked if there were any questions.
So some wag in the audience piped up with, "If we're told that the best sales pitch is to keep our CV's short and sweet, can you please tell us why your company’s sales pitch is sooooo long - what are you trying to tell us ?" ...... needless to say the place fell about laughing !
