so we're getting an email from Stephanie tomorrow explaining everything???? The organisation is pretty bad as nobody seems to know anything about this contract. We'll see what they have to offer tomorrow... :-)

Gear 30th Jul 2009 17:28

who told you stephanie would send a mail tomorrow ? She told me she would phone next week.
By the way, have heard about other bases proposed to other crews that were hired directly by Eagle (iso Wynnwith) : bases in Asia.

tu_ki 30th Jul 2009 17:33

She will send everybody who will be hired by Eagle tomorrow a email to keep us updated... if there is any important change she informs you directly.
Thats what ******* wrote this morning (Ive been asked to delete his/her name)

tu_ki 30th Jul 2009 18:01

Im just saying that nobody has any info.... even Wynnwith said they didnt know when the training is... where.... etc.The only thing they know is just that the 1st 3 months will be in Jeddah, thats all. Of course Ill wait to see the contract and decide whether I take it or not

racheldebuitleir 31st Jul 2009 10:47

ballet, Im afraid I didnt specifically ask for it at all. I asked for my 'training records' and got a huge amount of documents detailing every part of training and one of the documents was this Attestation.

Gear 31st Jul 2009 11:39

@ballet + rachel : All operators are now supposed to make sure you have an initial cabin crew training. If not, they MUST give you this training, unless you have already had 3 (or 2, don't remember) recurrent courses within this airline....
I don't remember the exact rules, but it's sth like that.
You'll find it certainly on the web if you look through your local aviation authority's website or if you google sth like "cabin crew eu-ops training".
Hope this helps.
Best.

galley fm..how can eagle recruit people and based them in asia...when they dont even have a website!?

anyway i got the position as well...i think if u r based in JED then probably you will have more chances to get out for there as u might be flyin as well to india asia and europe and bring arabs in for the hajj...

Im not too sure about the salary either and before givin them my final yes i have to read the contract...and after gettin a confirmation of the start date i will give my current employed my 1 month notice.

im very excited to go back on the 747 tough :D

Gear 31st Jul 2009 11:55

Simon,

other news (and this is not from galley fm) : ex eagle crews have been called by the airline and they have been proposed a base in asia. Plus, it seems like some of us would be qualified on the B757 and others on the B747... You might be flying only B757 (less glamour, i knoooooooow).

For the rest, I'm like you, waiting to see the final conditions on the contract before i accept anything.

Anyway, congrats on being succesful, and see you maybe soon on one of our flights.

simon86 31st Jul 2009 13:48

thanks gear..

well i expressed to the recruitors that i really want to go back on the 747..and they said we all be trained in the aircraft they have.

but when stephany will call back i will make sure that she will understad the 4 instead of the 5..

its all very up in the air...

also i think its quite fair that ex eagle are offered the better choice of base..it is not depends on if they will accept to come back to their company!...

also just to make clear that we are going to be paid by the agency that is recruiting us and that the contract will be signed between us and them on behalf of eagle...i think :D

Gear 31st Jul 2009 13:56

I was not saying it was bad if we couldn't fly on the B747.... but I'd also prefer the B747.
I was told yesterday on this forum that stephanie would call/send a mail today but so far no news.
Keep us informed, please, if wynnwith get in touch with you. I'll do the same.
When did u have your interview ? What position did u apply for ?
x

ballet 31st Jul 2009 13:59

hi guys

hello everybody
I have also got the job as senior cc, but do not know than if I should say yes or no to it.
after I have been in Woking I think many things are not quite clear and we must wait and see.
I wonder if someone else took up with Wynnwith on our insurance, etc.
Then I asked, I received in reply that we are insured only during the flight by eagle.

have a good day
