What would the time to command be for a non-Icelandic new joiner? Looking for a change and want to stay put until command at the next gig.

Hi,

Does anybody know if Air Atlanta will accept ICAO (Australian) ATPL, or only EASA?

Thanks

Only EASA as their AOC is Icelandic, which is EASA. No possibilities for temporary validation ''while-you-convert''.

A) First Officers that have been with Air Atlanta for less than three years:

Total Hours: 6.000*, including:
Medium - Heavy Jet Hours: 4.500*, including:
Boeing 747-400 Hours: 500*
Valid and current ATPL license

So there is no seniority list?
How many hours per year does a FO on average, assuming the 3/2 rosters would always work?

C152gal 23rd Jan 2018 14:53

Possibly 400-500, but you will not get a 2/3, they will give you a ''worldwide'', which means they may or may not call you for duty whenever you make yourself available.
No seniority list. Read the whole thread.

Anybody got a clu?

3 misspellings in 2 lines of text. Other than that, you should get a quick reply.

Hi all

What is difference between Confair and Airborne? I imagine the contract is the same?
Thx. Rgds

Hibernia 18th Feb 2018 10:30

Airborne is owned lock, stock and barrel by AAI.
Confair is Dutch.

Hi, does anyone know how many CR they need for this year?

Thanks

SKI 12th Mar 2018 21:37

None, in Saudi all cruise reliefs furloughed!

Icelanta 13th Mar 2018 11:37

Complete nonsense SKI.

KeepCalm 18th Mar 2018 20:56

Hello,

although if I read correctly, the answer is yes...
Do AAI/Airborne interview or hire cruise relief pilots with no previous jet or tp experience? My particular situation is 1000TT, all piston.

What does the selection process consist of?
From ppjn...

ATPL test, interview, phychological tests and a sim ride. All on the same day.
Any advice is welcome!

Thanks!

any more info on this? The saudi operations seemed to be about 70% of Air Atlantas entire operation.

alkor 26th Mar 2018 17:14

I would say the reason for move out of Saudi is because now you have to have Saudi AOC, if you want the A/C to be based there.
