Question whats with dhl

does anyone know why there was a significant increase in traffic
with dhl this morning at ema, seems there was more flights than normal, western ramp at times was full, 2 planes on pax ramp and the other day a airbus was parked on eastern ramp in TNT's
allocated stand, is there a reason for this?

Possible that any strike that was rumoured to be iminent by the DHL loadies at BRU could have caused EMA to take the workload !! Just a guess...

I think there was a strike in BRU or France.
that would mess things up a bit.

made for an interesting night duty-especially as many of the pax flights were late due the french strike!
we just about coped stand wise, but having a 757 parked abeam stand 120 making the taxyway a cull de sac caused the ground controller a few moments-did things work OK from the crews perspective?, this being the second time in a week that we have been offered the extra traffic on short notice
