I heard that there are screenings and interviews happening right now, but that there won't be any formal hiring for the next six months. Is that true? I'd hate to fly to Leipzig or quit my job for nothing...

I don't really understand the logic.

Can confirm, a friend received a reply stating basically that – they have many experienced applicants rn
You might be in for the next hiring cycle

What you would normally prepare for for an IP BQ is sufficient.

Thanks! I was referring to which parts of the BQ specifically, there is not much info about DHL Austria about the selection process/assessment

From what I've heard, the BQ at DHL is quite similar to the Eurowings BQ at Interpersonal. You can find some good information about it here: Eurowings careers

Bottom line is: Skytest is recommended and you'll need to brush up on your ATPL knowledge. Apart from that, Easy Flighttraining updated their IP BQ products extensively over the last months maybe you could also have a look at them.

I don't know if that's true or not, but you should never quit your current job before having signed your next contract and having a starting date at the new airline. This is common sense.

I have gotten a message from them shortly after I applied that they are currently prioritising pilots with 500h CS25 (for the FO role) and/or TR pilots.
They are not closing my application (cadet) as probably they're going to wait if they can fill their spots with the experienced FO's. My guess is they might still need some cadets to fill the role.

I don't know why/where this information came from where they said no cadets in 2026... I hope it's false

Anyways now we sit back and wait.

It is in the advert, where it says, requirement 500h CS25 aircraft. It is very unlikely that cadets will be hired this year, but of course, you never know.

It's not a mandatory requirement, just advantageous

The advert says , I quote : "Advantageous but not mandatory". I have applied and haven't got rejected (yet) based on my experience (no 500h jet , nor TR). I've heard DHL Austria is quite keen on signing ab initio, but that's just hear-say.

We'll see if cadets get invited, I've gotten other applications running on career.aero and if I don't meet the requirements , within a few days they close the application saying I haven't got the experience

Trust me, at the moment no one with less than 500h will be hired, unless you are already in the hold pool.

Hello everyone!
Anyone of You guys received invitation? I’m just wondering if they already started with screenings, coz it’s been a while since i received an email saying that I fulfill the requirements and in upcoming weeks they’ll decide who will be called.

Screenings have been held in early February, at the moment no further screenings are planned for the time being.

No further screenings. Does it mean all positions are already filled?
The Job application is still open with IP.
Thanks

For the time being yes, but we might have new assessments during this year.
