End:
A final part of something, esp. a period of time, an activity, or a story
- the end of the year
- Mario led the race from beginning to end
A termination of a state or situation
- the party called for an end to violence
- one notice will be effective to bring the tenancy to an end
Used to emphasize that something, typically a subject of discussion, is considered finished
- you will go to church and that's the end of it
Death or ruin
- if she's caught stealing again, it will be the end of her career

It seems there are some here who are unaware of the meaning of pedant. Perhaps they could look it up before bandying it about inappropriately.
Asking for clarification of an unfinished sentence that has no meaning is not even remotely connected to pedantry.
As for the apostrophe - if it is of the Greengrocer's variety; if I owe you £1000 pounds but write £100.0 on the cheque you'd wail like hell. Would it be pedantic to insist the point was put in the right place? Hell no. Same difference. Need 1000Kg of fuel but write 100.0 on the request slip and think it is pedantic of the fueller if sees a difference? It's "Bloody obvious" is it?
Pedantic? Hardly!

I read this thread thinking that it was about Air Bridge Carriers, a freight company based at East Midlands in the 1970 and 1980s with their classic "The Mighty Vickers Merchantman"

Come on guys , are we talking aviation or the English grammar academy. Why all this talks about an apostrophe or a sentence. I thought in aviation we immediately understand what the question was. Please keep it to the topic. Nobody is interested in English grammar lessons on pilots forum. There are other websites for that.
Now back to Erwins question if the -300's will remain in the fleet, because this is what is interesting.

For those who are familiar with WB aircrafts it's a full sentance! Wait... Do you want me to explain you what WB mean?

for the ones that are pity on the language of shakespeare, we are really sorry for our mistakes, but if you speak "drie verschillende talen" en "que vous parlez français en plus" en als je dan al die talen mengt, dan maak je van tijd " some mistakes".
i'm not the smartest guy on earth but i exactly knew what Erwin wanted to say, classic 747's, not the ones with all the tv screens(-400's and -8)
so guys, sit back, relax, and enjoy your journey
