I understand that due to the delicate state of whatever negotiations might or might not be still on going. The CL44 association are trying very hard to keep a very very low profile. So as not to upset the parties concerned.
Please be patient.
Be lucky

This is just in and I quote
The CL44 Association is well aware of what is or is not happening at Bournemouth, to the Guppy right now. However, to scotch some of the more, let us say, optimistic rumours, the Association will say in its September Newsletter that mention should be made of the LEGAL situation regarding this aircraft. The full details of that legal situation is available to Assocation members only and is NOT for general consumption. It does however, clarify exactly what the current troop of engineers are facing! NEWS-first hand also of a second 44 being restored is contained in the Newsletter which has photos of said aircraft
So there you are.
Be lucky
David

Actual owner cut spar for grounding plus,Structural corrosion in rear spar and bulk head, trying to install Transall engines with incorrect engine mounts and fittings, engines not on type certificate, props with major corrosion in blade hubs, run out gears/props, no paperwork on last C check ( over 15 years ago ) no ADs. No FAA/IASA release notes for parts installed, requires TCAS, no TAWS installed, been rotting in rain/wet for 8 years UK CAA need to go and freshen up the grounding order before the old people hurt themselves even trying to run it ?
