B747-400F vs B747-400ERF technical differences
Just wondered what are the technical/structural differences between the original B747-400F & the ERF variant (apart from the obvious statement that it's "extended range"!).
Is it just increased certified weights for Taxi/Takeoff and ZFW, or is there more to the structure and limitations?

Thanks for that link, but I've already been there.
Wikipedia is notoriously inaccurate and vague, and that's exactly what I found there!
Was looking for something a little more in depth to help with our Weight & Balance project.

Try Boeing's homepage
Boeing: Commercial Airplanes - 747 - Technical Information
More details can be found if you follow the link on the left side 'detailed technical characteristics'. All the the type specific manuals are available online. That should help for now.
