B-767F

Hi, I´m looking for information about the performances of this plane. I need to know the maximum range with 50 tons of both 200 and 300 (including normal reserve).
Do you know a good link where I can get as much information as posible about them?
Thanks a lot.

I have no idea at the moment.

However if you ask me in about six months when I am checked out and with a bit of time under my belt I am sure I shall have a very good idea about how far I can go on the company min fuel

Tampa Colombia

For what I can remember Tampa Colombia was flying its B767-200 freighters from Miami to Buenos Aires with 38 tons.

LAN Cargo B767-300ERF flies Buenos Aires-Miami with 48 tons.

I don't remember if those numbers are net or gross.

Anyway, for the 767 the Miami-Buenos Aires sector is around 8 hrs 30 min.

Data from a B767-300 in Pax Configuration.
DOW = 91.044
MZFW = 133.807
MTOW = 184.612
MLDGW = 145.149

Believe you would NOT be able to carry 50 tons.
42.763 Would be the Max PayLoad (133.807 - 91.044)

The difference from MZFW to MTOW is: 50.805 kgs
which is the amount of fuel you can uplift
(runway performance permiting ... for the take-off)

Given that the bird burns 5 tons/hour (roughly),
you can do a 9 hr sector (roughly) with 42.7 tons
of PayLoad.

The Cargo Configuration is likely to be lighter than
the Pax Configuration (me thinks). The difference
would be additional PayLoad you could add to
42.7 tons permited on the Pax Config.

Ready to be corrected, in case I'm wrong!!!

Safe flights,
Zero

Thanks everybody.

I knew the performances in general about bouth series, but I was asking about your experience with them. I´m looking for a plane able to flight about 10 hours carring between 45-50 tons. The doubt is if the -300 is able to do that, or if is better the -200 with and intermediate fuel stop.

If you are looking for a 45-50 tons NET payload airplane for flying 10 hrs the best and cheapiest option is a DC10-30F.
You can get one for no more than U$D 5 to 8 millon dollars and fly 150,000 LBS NET payload to a 9 hours sector.
I know that the fuel burninng is much higher than the B767 but its load and volume is much better.

Thanks CosmicComet,
fuel is a problem, but maintenance (spares) is the big issue with the DC-10 IMO, this is one of the reason of the 767. In the 50 Tones there aren´t too much choices... Maybe DC-8 is one of the best, but 3 crew members, fuel, spares...... same as DC-10.
Regards.
