fuel is a problem, but maintenance (spares) is the big issue with the DC-10 IMO, this is one of the reason of the 767. In the 50 Tones there arenīt too much choices... Maybe DC-8 is one of the best, but 3 crew members, fuel, spares...... same as DC-10.
